understand more about the coming out process for LGBTQ+ people

learn how to respond and create a healthy dialogue if someone comes out to them.
Materials:

Scissors/Crafting Knife

Magnetic Strips

White Board & Dry Erase Marker

Printer & Paper
Instructions

Download PDFs above and print.​

(OPTIONAL) Laminate speech bubbles to last longer​
-

Cut out the speech bubbles.
-
Cut magnetic strips and place onto the speech bubbles.
-
Draw out 4 sections on white board. (Title, Do, Don't, Unanswered) See picture on the right
-
Write in the title section: "If someone comes out to you.."
-
Write "Do" and "Don't" in their sections
-
Place phrases on the unanswered section of the board.
How to Play:
-
Grab a few phrases from the unanswered section.
-
Place whether you believe they belong on the "Do" or "Don't" side of the board.
-
After, the teacher/organizer will explain if it is correct/incorrect and why/why not.
